“One of the first dining tables I made for our home was from a crispy dead Elm tree. I felled it with an axe, milled the lumber, and let it dry for a year; it was a true exercise in patience. The East is modeled off of that first table. Countless holidays, parties, stains, 6 years and two children later, it will always be our simple meeting place.
