The most important aspect of our business is the ability to connect with you and form long lasting relationships. Yes, we create one-of-a-kind, heirloom-quality furniture, but as artists first, we want to hear from you and understand what draws you to a piece, any materials or inspiration we should consider, and where you envision your piece living. Our lead times are 9 weeks, and are subject to change based on scope of project, material availability, and our existing production timeline.
Our Process
Much of our furniture is made using a plywood lamination technique. Glued layers of plywood are molded and shaped onto custom forms. They are then cold pressed under vacuum pressure to create the unique curved pieces you see throughout the FORMA and RJF Legacy Collections. While the shapes of these objects may be repeated, each wood veneer sequence is one of a kind, making each piece truly custom.
Using wood veneer challenges us to make objects in limited runs. This allows us to redesign, rethink, and move forward with new concepts while keeping quality high and waste to a minimum.
